Wow! What a magnificent night it was at the Fintech Awards London last week on the 13th of June 2024.  Once again all the movers and shakers of the world of Fintech were in attendance.  It was a real treat to be sat with the crew from Deloitte (we were the fun table) and it was certainly wonderful to see so many new innovative UK Fintechs nominated at this years Awards.

No wonder London continues to be the global No1 for Fintech!

We were especially pleased to see Ninh Hao of Hozah win the prestigious “PayTech Company of the Year” award.  Yay!  Well done Ninh!

Ninh Hao of Hozah - Paytech Company of the Year

The whole night was one giant “Fintech AWARDS Entertainment Extravaganza” – with fantastic singers & dancers, Konga lines… the dance floor kicked off early this year! ..Plus great food & plenty of drink, etc. We heard some inspirational speeches and it was fantastic to see so many Fintech heavy weights & familiar friends in attendance.

A HUGE thanks to Matt Hyde for the invite…

P.S  I don’t know how you manage to outperform the previous years Awards, year after year. You are amazing.  the night is by far the best night of the Fintech Calendar.

Key Highlights Included:

  • An enlightening conversation on company culture & the importance of company values at both Klarna & Square with Alex Marsh & Kaushalya Somasundaram

  •  Meeting the super cool David Rozier (my new bestie) & Hayley Thompson of Deloitte

  • Catching up with Mark Walker. Loving the flash new pad in Dubai buddy! I though I was looking at a hotel. Seriously impressed

  • Great to see our previous FINTECH Circle Keynote speaker Gautam Pillai , CFA of Peel Hunt handing out the “Fintech Company of the Year” award. Looking sharp in a Tux sir

  • Meeting 🆑 Christophe Langlois of SymphonyAI – a Big congrats on winning “the Reg Tech Company of the Year” and for having such a great memory, for my dodgy interviews 😉

And finally hitting the dance floor with Angela Yore of SkyParlour, Joanne Dewar of Project Nemo, Susanne Chishti our CEO at FINTECH Circle, Olivia Minnock and all the other wild ones & too many others to mention…
